So shaken I am: heart and mind and soul combine and find their mix, with paint, on board.
Beaten down for so very long that it took by storm my stumbling spirit to perceive I had soared.
You said -- so adamant you were -- that putting brush to board was a hobby, little more.
"Dare to dream further, you'll receive no support from me . . . get to work and scrub that floor!"
I must eat, that's true, yet you insist that I cannot dream; you call me an inveterate fool.
Good for me -- it was not my choice -- I've been freed from job and you and gone back to school.

Thanks for sharing, punk!
Hope you get a satisfying resolution to something so intangible yet real.
As a little boy, I was inspired by the old WT covers with watchtower in foreground and mountain and waterfall in background. That has been the predominating subject matter of my artwork for over 50 years . . .
Go figure; I can't shake it. ???
Best.

she holds me tenderly in her tightening but welcome thrall.

In 1963 Texas, convicts Robert "Butch" Haynes (Kevin Costner) and Jerry Pugh (Keith Szarabajka) escape from the state penitentiary in Huntsville. Fleeing, the pair stumble into a house where eight-year old Phillip Perry (T.J. Lowther) lives with his devout Jehovah's Witness mother and two sisters.

Given the ubiquitous nature of that "large army of women," rip, I should think that something has made it to print or screen by a so influenced producer of words and cinema -- oh, yeah:
A Perfect World, with Kevin Costner!

Just watched "Nothing in the Dark."
Wow! Gladys Cooper was also in "Night Call," which I recall with chills to this day. The downed telephone line that lay across his . . .
Thanks again.

Thanks, rip, for the link!
I was an avid fan of TTZ, but I don't remember that one. Strange -- I believe it was an old wingback chair I was offered that indirectly inspired me. Or the name Fred . . . wish I could remember as I had just gotten out of bed and began writing away.
I've been having trouble lately with formatting, especially cut/paste.
See you later.
